Your Guide to Family Weekend at Miami University
October 24, 2025 | Sadie VanNatter
It’s 9 a.m. on a crisp fall Saturday in Oxford. Mom’s already triple-checking the weekend schedule, gathering everyone for pictures, and scanning her map for which parking lot is “closest to everything.” Dad’s standing off to the side, coffee in hand, just hoping to make it to the game on time. Meanwhile, you’re realizing you won’t be doing any of what you had planned this weekend.
Family Weekend is about bringing students and families together to celebrate life at Miami. So, don’t worry. With this guide, Mom won’t be stressing about parking, Dad will make it to kickoff, and you will still have time to show them all of your favorite campus spots.
Get ready, RedHawks — it’s time to open your wings and welcome family back to the nest. This is Family Weekend!
