Hometown
I’m originally from Fairfield, Ohio, and was initially drawn to Miami University because of its proximity to my hometown.
Passions and Interests
Marketing, storytelling, and digital media, along with anything else that involves writing! Here at the university, I’ve had the opportunity to explore both analytical and creative aspects of communication, from writing and content creation to film projects where I’ve been able to take on roles in scriptwriting, directing, and editing.
My interest in marketing mainly stems from my love of storytelling because it involves creating compelling narratives and engaging an audience. And, as a content strategy intern for Miami’s Communications and Marketing office (UCM), I’ve gained some meaningful experience. I’m so thankful to be a part of the UCM team.
Connections on Campus
Lastly, beyond the academics, the connections I’ve made here have encouraged me to grow both personally and professionally. The culture here, with all of its traditions and spirit, has made my school years so much more fun. One of my favorite campus traditions is avoiding the seal — I accidentally stepped on it once and briefly panicked about failing my next exam (fortunately, I still passed!).
Post-Graduation Plans
As I prepare for life after graduation, I’m excited to continue merging creativity with strategy. My goal is to pursue a career in digital and content marketing, with aspirations of becoming a marketing manager or creative director.
